Clinics

Our program has excellent clinic opportunities for the residents comprising four different settings.

High Street Clinic

The High Street Clinic is the resident's clinic. This clinic provides the residents with the "typical podiatric patient scenario". This clinic enables the resident to gain the big picture of podiatric practice by following patient's conservative care through surgical intervention. The residents are given ample opportunity to explore various techniques of practice with the availability of excellent attending guidance. This clinic also provides introduction to the business aspect of podiatry including marketing, billing, transcription, scheduling and staffing.

The Denver Wound Healing Center

This is Denver's premier wound care center utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach. The residents work with a variety of specialists in order to gain exposure to a diversity of wounds and in the various aspects of treating each type of wound. Residents gain experience in use of state of the art techniques and materials as well as being classically trained to diagnose difficult to treat wounds.

Commerce City Clinic

This clinic provides the residents to treat the underserved in the Denver community. The clinic is extremely busy with great and unusual pathology.

Private Practice Clinic

The Residents rotate through attendings private offices in order to gain exposure to the clinical aspects of podiatry. This also allows for the resident to understand how a practice is managed and organized. The resident also has the opportunity to see how the attending and staff interact with patients.
